Division

This is the piece I had a very poor sketch of (not that this is much better) in my sketchbook. This piece will discuss the fragmentation of self when around certain people or situations. For this I would like the body parts to be made of clay slabs laid into slump molds and glazed and the cones (the blue squiggles) will be sewn from a smokey vinyl. We discussed about hanging this on the wall, but I realized that this could easily be created to be a floor piece and may offer a greater variety of work for the BFA show rather than all wall pieces.
